Aquila Capital, a German multinational, has just strengthened its presence in Portugal with the addition of another floor in the Fontes Pereira de Melo 14 building in Lisbon.
The new 570m2 space was designed from scratch by DONE Design To Build, the architecture company of Worx Real Estate Consultants.
Mafalda Carvalho, Architect at DONE, Design to Build, emphasises that “this project was very challenging. There was a great need to explore what had already been implemented, but at the same time to innovate, creating solutions to meet the biggest trend of our time, which is to prioritise employees and their well-being.”
The genesis of the spatial design of this new office was the creation of a large central hub – a bar and lounge area – characterised by intimate lighting, the use of vegetation, wood, “living” furniture and informal work areas, bringing employees into a homey environment, in contrast to the surrounding area, where conventional workrooms are located. A unique space that promotes meeting, sharing and socialising between the different floors and departments.
It is in this context that Indelague products are inserted, namely SENSE, a setting inspired by constellations, which are arbitrary groupings of stars.
REBA 50 /E LINE, REBA 35 D/I and VEGA /E were also used in the project.
