Indelague, the leading Portuguese lighting company, was responsible for supplying the luminaires for Bosch’s new industrial building, demonstrating its competence and quality in the industrial sector.
Bosch’s new production line in Aveiro is dedicated to the manufacture of air/water heat pumps, which are devices that heat and cool rooms and water using air energy, a renewable and free source.
Bosch invested 12 million euros in the installation of the new line, which occupies an area of 6,000 m2 in its thermotechnology unit in Aveiro, where it already produces water heaters, boilers and solar panels.
The new line has a production capacity of 100,000 units per year and came into operation in the first half of 2023, creating around 50 new jobs.
The luminaire control system installed at Bosch through its set of sensors and controllers that interact with each other to adjust the artificial lighting according to the natural lighting available aims to maintain an adequate level of luminosity in the environment, without wasting electricity.
